WHO IS YOUR OWN ADHD LIFE COACH?
She's Tammy Sanhedrai.
HELLO! I'm Tammy Sanhedrai, a certified Life Coach, specializing in ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder).
I am also a life-long teacher and learner.
I live on an island in beautiful British Columbia (Canada), with my husband, two children and two cats.
It's a rainy paradise.

On my path to becoming an audiologist, I was distracted and became interested in teaching instead.
For 20 years I spent my hours in a rectangle called a classroom. I loved it. LOVED it. For the first 14 years.

In 2013, I started to 'hit the wall' teaching and began to look within. I consulted with my doctor and decided to seek out a psychiatrist. Within a month, I was diagnosed with ADHD, at the age of 43.

After my diagnosis, I dove head-first into researching ADHD and, within two years, I was hired by my
public school district to share a presentation/workshop on how to teach students with ADHD.
I spoke on this subject as professional development for teachers in the district.
It was a great success each time, ending with several educators lingering behind to learn more and share
their personal or teaching stories of ADHD. There was clearly a need for this.

However, a few presentations a year did not sustain my interest in public school teaching.
I continued to research different options for working with ADHDers and learned about ADHD Life Coaching.
I chose a program that excited me at the International ADHD Coach Training Center (iACT).

When I started coach training at iACT in January 2020, I was hoping to end with a
specialized qualification in the area of ADHD.
It would help if I wrote a book, or a blog. Perhaps it would help me reach more teachers...
Instead, I fell in love with COACHING!
The process works! Years of therapy could not do what coaching could do in one session.
I was sold after a month, and engaged deeply in the training ~ I fell head over heels!
Let me share my passion with you!
